Become a Member
Since 1898, CSEE has served independent schools with quality
services, publications, and conferences.
CSEE members participate in the only national organization
dedicated solely to the spiritual development and moral
education of young people.
- CSEE members have access to professional resources to
assist them in establishing a climate in which moral
thoughtfulness and religious expression are encouraged.
- CSEE is independent of any religious body and does
not impose any one point of view. It respects
diversity of aims and works within school policies.

CSEE
- Offers extensive Member Benefits
- Conducts workshops and conferences for all school
constituencies on values, the moral climate of schools,
and issues of religious diversity and contemporary spirituality.
- Sponsors student workshops on spiritual and ethical issues.
- Leads retreats for teachers, chaplains, parents,
administrators, and trustees.
- Advises schools on ethics and interfaith curriculum and teaching.
- Supports community service and service learning programs.
- Speaks at chapels, assemblies, parent groups, and trustee meetings.
- Sponsors a national Community Service Network Recognition Award each year.
- Presents programs for meetings of state, regional,
and national educational associations.
- Offers limited placement resources for religion
teachers and chaplains.
- Conducts summer ethics institutes.
- Provides Internet access to resources for spiritual
and ethical education.
- Organizes regional and national networks for parents,
teachers and administrators around issues of religious
pluralism and the moral climate of schools.
